This March I am spending a week sleeping on the floor to raise money to give a child the best start to their day. Every child should be able to start their school day with a feeling of dignity, purpose and encouragement. I'm taking on the February on the Floor challenge but I’m doing it in March so that I can help a child head off to school with new underwear, in a smart uniform, with a school bag full of educational resources and a full belly to help them concentrate all day on their lessons.
A week of discomfort for me will be completely worth it as I will be able to give a child the best start to their day for a whole year, enabling them to pursue their dreams. Please give generously as I would love to help as many children as possible.
I can't wait to update you with photos and details of my experience and I will also share photos I receive of the children whose lives have been changed because of your support.

February on the Floor is a fundraising event designed to make a significant difference to the lives of our amazing Stand by Me children. We ask people to sleep on the floor for a week of their choice in February and raise money to give a child the best start to their day.
