Six year old Emmanuel is cared for by his grandmother who is the family’s sole provider. Like many people in Kenya, she is unable to find regular work and the family often go to bed hungry. Her hope of providing Emmanuel with a quality education seemed out of reach.
We took a step of faith and adopted the Open Arms project to meet the needs of kids like Emmanuel and we proudly welcomed him into our school where he receives food, healthcare, family support and, as his grandmother had hoped, a life-changing education. She told us:
“When Emmanuel was born, he became the light of our life. He always smiles and makes things better. I would like to give him everything he wants in life but I cannot. Him going to school is the best thing that has happened to us.”
If you are able, will you join us to provide Emmanuel and our 330 kids in Kenya with regular food and a quality education? Your donation will show God's love to children and give them a hopeful future.
Your donation will be doubled! A generous donor has joined us in responding to the needs in Kenya and will match the donation you are able to give up to a total of £50,000.
