Stand By Me (formerly Kids Alive) has been very close to our hearts for the last 20 years. The Stand By Me team do incredible work changing many children’s lives across the world, giving them hope for the future, and showing them someone cares. We have been extremely blessed in our own lives and, on this very special occasion of our wedding, we felt it would be lovely if we could also celebrate the life changing work of Stand By Me. The charity grows bigger every year as it supports increasing numbers of children and any donation to this fantastic cause would be enormously appreciated.
Glenn Frey of The Eagles wrote “Be part of something good, leave something good behind”.
Donations will be used to buy furniture and household items for a new children’s home in Burma caring for orphaned and abandoned children. For children who have come from difficult backgrounds, the gift of a bed, a mattress, a pillow and a blanket will help them feel secure and that they have a home where they belong.
We can’t think of a better cause…….
