I will be running in a half marathon on Sunday 21st July to raise funds for some children in Bekoji, Ethiopia, who are without parents or close family to look after them. They live in a children’s home, run by a charity called Stand By Me, which I will be visiting as a volunteer in August this year. We are paying for our own travel and accommodation, but we want to raise funds to take the children for a special day out and a range of other activities during our time there.
If you are able to sponsor me on the run to help make this happen, I would be really grateful. I will personally be able to ensure that the money makes a real difference to these children.
