In July I will be cycling from Lands’ End to John O’Groats travelling just over 1,000 miles in 14 days. I am raising funds for the Bethany School in Bekoji, Ethiopia which is managed by Stand By Me and supports some of the poorest children and families in what is a very poor community. I had the privilege of volunteering there two years ago and meeting the children and staff. Stand By Me supports a large number of families not just with a great education but with basic food and supplies. Anything we can raise together will make a significance at a time when the virus is making a difficult life even harder.
Thank you for your support.
Stand by Me rescues children then provides them with the care, love and attention they need to thrive. Through homes, schools, care centres and family support programmes, Stand by Me meets children's individual needs and helps them realise their full potential. Stand by Me's Bethany School in Ethiopia provides the poorest children in the community with a quality education, daily food, health care and family support.
