Stand by a Hero

We are the East Belfast NI National Citizen Service Group who are working with Belfast YMCA. 

We are doing a sponsored walk in the name of Stand by Me, a charity providing child-centred care, on Friday 28^th of July. We aim to raise money to help kids in developing countries all around the world. We are each walking a minimum of 5 miles, dressed as children’s characters and superheroes, while carrying a backpack full of textbooks, to replicate the journey children make in the countries Stand by Me work in. We would appreciate a donation of any size to help us help them. Your money can really make a difference, only £8 can pay for one child’s school uniform for a year.
