This February, we are spending every Friday and Saturday evening sleeping on the floor to raise money to buy a bed for a family in Ethiopia. There are families who spend every night sleeping on the cold, hard floor so we're taking on the "February on the floor" challenge so that they no longer have to and instead can sleep in a comfortable bed.
Having visited Ethiopia myself in October 2019 I have seen how children are sleeping and in particular our sponsor child, it is a desperate situation for so many of the children. My lasting impression from my visit is that they are still so joyful and happy despite what we would consider the basic needs not being completely met. I know for sure that beds would be a great blessing to every child and their gratitude would be immense. Please help us raise as much as we can so we can get many beds!
