I want to thank everyone at Lowdham Methodist Chapel for your encouragement, prayers and financial support.
Our staff have already distributed over 1000 food parcels to families in Romania, Colombia and Ethiopia. These food parcels provide families with a month's supply of food and enable families to stay home and stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
As our hard-working staff on the ground have distributed the food parcels, we have heard firsthand the fear and anxiety that families are facing, but we've also heard their thankfulness to God that people have thought about them in their moment of need. You can hear Nigatua in Bekoji, Ethiopia share her story and her thankfulness in the film above.
We know that the journey through this pandemic will take time and so we are committed to providing food parcels for our kids and their families for the next 6 months. This will be a huge challenge but we also know our God is bigger, He is faithful and His Church is active.
In 2 Corinthians Paul is encouraging the church to live generously because “when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.” As we continue to support families in crisis, we are showing them God’s love in action, causing them to give thanks to God and giving them hope during this pandemic.
Please keep our children, their families and our staff across the world in your prayers. Thank you for your continued support.
