We want each of our kids to access a life changing education and over the last 18 months we have conducted a review of the Ethiopian Education Curriculum alongside a small team of early years teachers from Northern Ireland. While the curriculum overlaps in many areas it was clearly identified that our school teachers and classrooms were under resourced and therefore needed to be transformed in order to maximise our children’s learning and their potential.

In partnership with our staff on the ground we have redesigned four early year classrooms, materials and outdoors spaces at our two schools in Ethiopia to maximise their potential for learning.
