If you are passionate about transforming the life of a child and want to take on a challenge, February on the floor is for you. Sleep on the floor for a weekend to raise money in sponsorship to provide uniforms, school bags, daily breakfast and comfortable beds for children living in poverty. Your week of discomfort will ensure our kids are given the best start to their day and can pursue their dreams!
Whether you are an individual, family, church group, school or group of friends, this challenge is for you. You can even fundraise together as a team!
One of our younger participants commented, “Just think mum, all we had to do was sleep on the floor and that means some children will never have to do that again.”
We believe that our kids can change the world around them and sharing their stories, their hopes and dreams for the future plays such an important part in helping them to overcome their circumstances. We know the huge impact that the church can make when we reach out with God’s love to support children in our care who face the challenges of poverty.

We love sharing the story of our kids with schools so that pupils can see the difference they can make in the lives of children around the world. With school assemblies, classroom workshops, SU groups and staff updates, pupils and teachers can feel inspired in raising support for the kids in our care.
We’ve got lots of fundraising ideas that help to engage pupils as they raise support, and we’d love to connect with your school!
As you celebrate a special occasion, whether a birthday, anniversary or wedding, you can encourage your friends and family to give donations in lieu of gifts on a personalised fundraising page. The donations you raise will be used to provide our 3,800 children with a birthday gift on their special day, giving them the chance to celebrate and to feel loved.
Our alternative gifts are great ideas to buy for your family and friends. Each gift that you choose will be given directly to the children in our care that most need your gift. We have a range of gifts starting from as little as £5 that will mean so much to the children in our care. When you buy an alternative gift, you receive a beautiful card explaining the gift to give to a friend.
