In August 2019 a group of 15 individuals from Elmwood Church, Salford will go to Bekoji, Ethiopia to spend two weeks with the children in the Stand By Me project.
The team are fundraising to take sports equipment and games for the children. They also will build beds for poor families in the community. Their fundraising will also provide a special day of fun for the children of Bekoji Bethany Children's Village. The children will enjoy a day out in at a lake resort, enjoy lovely food and swim.
Everyone is working hard to fundraise. The team have an auction and dinner planned, some are running a half marathon, cake and coffee events are planned and more.
All proceeds will go towards the projects the team will be involved in when in Bekoji. Any donation is much appreciated. Thank you from all the team.
