This February I am spending a night sleeping on the floor to raise money to give a child the best start to their day. Every child should be able to start their school day with a feeling of dignity, purpose and encouragement. I'm taking on the February on the Floor challenge so that I can help a child head off to school with new underwear, in a smart uniform, with a school bag full of educational resources and a full belly to help them concentrate all day on their lessons.
A night of discomfort for me will be completely worth it as I will be able to give a child the best start to their day for a whole year, enabling them to pursue their dreams. Please give generously as I would love to help as many children as possible.
I can't wait to update you with photos and details of my experience and I will also share photos I receive of the children whose lives have been changed because of your support.

We care for over 4,000 kids across the world, from Myanmar to Colombia to Ethiopia. No two are the same, some are orphaned, some abandoned, some abused or living in extreme poverty, so we take care to meet each of their individual needs from food and healthcare, to loving parents and quality education, enabling them to reach their potential, stand on their own two feet and become who they were created to be.
February on the Floor is a fundraising event designed to make a significant difference to the lives of our amazing Stand by Me children. We ask people to sleep on the floor for a week of their choice in February and raise money to give a child the best start to their day.
