Isabel and Gemma are heading to Kenya to visit children cared for by Stand by Me to help establish nursing care at their school and children's homes.
We are two London A&E nurses who are moving to Kenya in September 2023 to help establish nursing care for the 330 Stand by Me children. We are self-funding our trip but are trying to raise as much money as possible to help meet the long-term aim of the project to be able to establish a small clinic and employ a Kenyan Nurse who will be equipped to provide high quality care to attend the children’s physical and mental health needs.
Above all we want to show these children that they are loved, just as Jesus loves them.
Stand by Me are changing the lives of hundreds of children who have been rescued from extreme poverty and giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
