As part of the partnership between The Message Community Church and Stand by Me, we will be serving on mission Kenya in March 2024 but we need your help! We would be grateful if you would consider supporting some of our group who are unable to meet all of the costs themselves. This will go towards the cost of their flights, accommodation, visa and vaccinations. Our team will be working in the following areas:
1. Empowering the poorest families within rural communities: Working alongside SBM staff to share the gospel, pray with them and breaking down the taboo of dealing with root cause issues such as substance abuse.
2. School Activity Week: Providing fun and exciting activities that children in poor rural areas of Kenya often get little exposure to, such as arts, music, drama, sport.
3. Blessing and encouraging the Mums within the SBM children’s homes: Focusing on building them up and supporting them as they care for children who have been left orphaned or abandoned.
We'd love to raise as much money as possible to send our team to Kenya, to fund the work the team will be doing and to bless the children within Stand by Me's care.
