Since December, Shadrack and Three Other Babies Have Been Rescued

Recently, we told you about Shadrack, a toddler that had been abandoned on the streets of Kenya.

Thankfully, with your help, Open Arms Village was able to welcome Shadrack and three other recently rescued babies into a big family where they will be wrapped in protection, healing and the unconditional love of their Heavenly Father.

The spring semester has begun at Denisa Care Center. Fifty children are now enrolled in the program and more requests continue to come.

In December, Denisa Care Center celebrated 15 year of serving the children in their village and surrounding communities. What an incredible impact this program has made in the lives of hundreds of children! Because of your support, the number of students completing high school has skyrocketed. Many even continue on to college!

We want to introduce you to four women who were excited to learn! These women and their children all live near our Open Arms Village. They were part of a six month training program where they learned about best practices in small scale farming, managing finances and first aid.

I Want To Be a Teacher

"I want to be a teacher when I grow up." said Mercy, when asked about her dreams.

Mercy attends Open Arms Academy on scholarship through the kindness of donors just like you. Though she lives a mile from the school, she is always excited to begin her walk because she knows that she will have a meal waiting for her when she arrives. Mercy is a member of the Breakfast Club at school and she says this is the best club of them all!
