Miss Walshe, Miss Wilkes and Miss Whitbread will be travelling to Ethiopia to visit the Dembi Dollo ‘Abdi Academy’ in July for 10 days. This is a unique opportunity to see where the children’s hard work and efforts have gone and also support the delivery of education across the school. We will be involved with the building of the school, teaching the curriculum and adding a needed Western touch.
The Abdi Academy in Dembi Dollo is transforming the lives of some of the world’s poorest children through a quality education, daily food, health care and family support.
