This is our 5th February where we are going to be sleeping on the floor to help change kids' lives. In that time we have been so grateful for everyone's support and been able to help 48 children with a bed lifting them off the floor and last year we helped provide 9 children with new underwear, a smart uniform, a school bag full of books, pens and pencils and a breakfast every day of the year so they can have a full belly to help them concentrate on their lessons.
There are families around the world who continue to spend every night sleeping on the floor, children who wake up hungry with their parents unable to provide breakfast and kids in tattered uniforms without school resources and so we're taking on the February on the Floor challenge again, and inviting people to join the team too, so that together we can improve children's sleeping conditions and provide them with all they need to start their day prepared for school.
Uncomfortable sleep for us will be completely worth it as we know that uniforms, school bags, breakfast and beds will transform children's lives. Please give generously as we would love to help as many children as possible.
We can't wait to update you with photos and details of our experience as well as the children whose lives have been changed because of your support.
Thank you

Stand by Me rescues kids from extreme circumstances, then provides the care, love and attention they need to thrive. We care for over 3,800 kids across the world, from Myanmar to Colombia to Ethiopia. No two are the same, some are orphaned, some abandoned, some abused or living in extreme poverty, so we take care to meet each of their individual needs from food and healthcare, to loving parents and quality education, enabling them to reach their potential, stand on their own two feet and become who they were created to be.
February on the Floor is a fundraising event designed to make a significant difference to the lives of our amazing Stand by Me children. We ask people to sleep on the floor for a weekend of their choice in February and raise money to help provide families with uniforms, school bags, breakfast and beds to enable them to pursue their dreams.
