As many of you know, Kenya holds a special place in our family's heart. This year in May, our family will be travelling to Kenya again alongside a group of teachers from Chepstow House School to support the incredible work of Stand by Me. We will be spending time at Open Arms Academy, contributing to the construction of a new school library - a project that will create a lasting impact for the children and their access to education.
Having spent meaningful time in Kenya as a family, this trip feels particularly important to us, an opportunity to give back in a more tangible and lasting way.
In support of this initiative, our daughter Louise has taken on her own challenge: she will be running the London Marathon's Kids race on 25th April in support of Stand by Me. Her determination (and training!) has been inspiring, and she is doing this to help raise funds for children who deserve the same opportunities she has.
We are therefore reaching out to our network to support her effort. Every contribution will go directly towards supporting Stand by Me’s work, including projects such as the Open Arms Academy library.
Please help her achieve her fundraising target!
Thank you in advance for your support - it truly makes a difference.

Stand by Me rescues kids from extreme circumstances, then provides the care, love and attention they need to thrive. They care for over 4,000 kids across the world, from Myanmar to Colombia to Ethiopia. No two of the children they care for are the same, some are orphaned, some abandoned, some abused or living in extreme poverty, so they take care to meet each of their individual needs from food and healthcare, to loving parents and quality education, enabling them to reach their potential, stand on their own two feet and become who they were created to be.
