On Thursday 27th April the pupils and staff of Magherafelt Primary School are taking on a sponsored walk to raise funds to support Stand by Me children in Ethiopia . By walking around the school grounds carrying Jerry cans filled with water we will see what life is like for lots of boys and girls who journey down to a river or well to collect the water they need for each day which is often dirty.
By sponsoring the pupils at Magherafelt PS we will be helping to provide boys and girls in Ethiopia with clean water at our Stand by Me school helping them to learn and dream of a bright future.
