On Saturday 3rd May at 7pm the Ormeau Community Ukes are hosting a fundraising social to celebrate 30 years of Stand by Me.
Stand by Me rescues children around the world from poverty and provides the love, care and attention they need to thrive. On the night we'll enjoy music from Ormeau Community Ukes and friends at Shaftesbury Bowling Club. Donations can made at the door, and through this fundraising page.
We’re raising money to support the children cared for at the Stand by Me Myanmar Agape Home. With the recent earthquake Myanmar has been in our news, but for the last four years they have also been experiencing a devastating civil war. Alongside raising money to provide for the essential needs of nutritious meals and a life-changing education for these kids, we’re hoping to raise money for musical instruments and lessons as part of their summer activities, giving them a break from their everyday challenges and a moment of a more normal childhood.
Every donation will make a difference!
Thank you so much for your support and for helping us to transform the lives of Stand by Me kids around the world.
