Due to ongoing war and displacement in the region many of the children who have fled the conflict are without access to an education. To ensure children have the opportunity to learn when the Myanmar school year begins in June we want to provide over 100 "Student Kits" as well as expand our Lois School.

"Student Kits" containing essential learning supplies and equipment including notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, backpacks, raincoats and umbrellas will enable refugee children to study at local government schools.

Our Lois School is determined to expand to allow more children to attend and be taught by our dedicated teachers and experience a Christian school environment. We plan to build four new classrooms on rented land. This will enable the Lois School to relocate our Kindergarten students into these new classrooms to free up spaces in our school to welcome 120 displaced children into the primary grades who would otherwise not be able to receive an education. Thanks to a generous donor, we have received £11,250 towards these new classrooms and need to raise another £11,250 to complete the new building.

This growth will mean displaced children will have the chance to learn and receive the full support of Stand by Me.
