Silverstream Primary School's Sponsored Walk

On Friday 10th March the pupils and staff of Silverstream Primary School are taking on a sponsored walk to raise funds to support our two amazing Stand By Me children Halima and Tasama who live in Ethiopia. By walking around the school grounds carrying Jerry cans filled with water we will see what life is like for lots of boys and girls in Ethiopia. Each day Halima and Tasama journey down to a river or well to collect the water they need for each day which is often dirty.

By sponsoring the pupils at Silverstream we will be supporting Halima and Tasama to have the chance to have a life changing education, food for each day and clean water making sure they know they are loved and cared for.
