This Christmas, we want to help purchase shoes for the 3,800 children in Stand by Me's care around the world. Many of the children in Stand by Me's care have never owned shoes that provide protection for their feet. Suitable shoes are essential to kids' wellbeing and development. Children are always growing and changing, and need shoes that allow them to walk, run and play with dignity and strength.
Each pair of shoes costs £12 and will protect a child's feet from cuts, damage and disease. When the children receive a new pair of shoes they are filled with joy and have the confidence to adventure into all life has to offer.
