1,000 mile run/walk.

3.5 miles each day.

Rain, hail, snow, more rain, wind, mountains, through rivers, on holiday, on the beach, in the Rocky Mountains - through chest infections, pounding through forests with a new-found tree allergy...it has all been a comparatively small sacrifice for the work done by Stand by Me.

Stand by Me rescues and cares for some of the world's poorest children. Through children's homes, schools and care centres we are meeting the individual needs of over 3,500 children who are orphaned, abandoned, abused victims of war or disease or living in extreme poverty. The children have complex backgrounds, so Stand by Me take time and care in making sure each child’s unique needs are me. They do whatever it takes to provide the care, love and attention they need to thrive.
