School kits for our kids

3|Share, Adobe Platinum Solution Partner Company visited the Dominican Republic for their company meeting. As they were visiting Dominican Republic, they wanted to give back to help the local community, so they took school kits for all our kids!

The Dominican Republic is a country steeped in poverty with high levels of unemployment. Many children do not have access to education, simple healthcare or regular nutritious food.

In 1995, Stand by Me established the Eva Russell school, which has since educated thousands of children, giving them the opportunity to escape the cycle of poverty and achieve their dreams. Our homes have given hundreds of orphaned and at-risk children love, care and the chance to become part of a family.

3 Share packed school kits for all 230 of our kids. Each school bag contained notebooks, pencils, colouring pencils and more school stationery, plus a handwritten encouragement note from a 3|Share employee. These gifts are a blessing for our children and encourage them to continue to work hard at school to create a brighter future for themselves, their families and their communities.
