Samjhana dreams of becoming a teacher. But she’s from a remote area in Nepal, where the nearest school is hours away. So we are embarking on a new project to bring education there. 

University in Ethiopia is free if children are successful at High School. Our challenge is to help as many children as possible complete a High School education after they have finished at our Bethany School. 

Each year we provide camps for hundreds of needy children in remote villages, where they enjoy nutritious food, receive medical care, have fun and learn about the love of Jesus. Our staff in Northern Burma ran two camps in the Chin Hills.

Meet Abdi, he's five years old and lives with his parents in Dembi Dollo. Both him and his mother are living with HIV and take medicine to control the virus. Abdi’s father’s job as a shoe shiner pays so little that they can’t afford adequate food or to pay the rent for their small mud house.

Ketty has a brave heart but she’s struggled with a medical condition that has limited her ability to walk. Her small family home was detrimental to her health. So, we rebuilt her house fully equipped with wheelchair access and a wet room.

Strathearn Girls School each year requests a car load of Jerry cans. Because of those Jerry cans, the enthusiastic pupils and devoted staff have raised £6000 over 3 years, transforming the health of our kids who were without clean water.

One year on from the Nepal Earthquake and we remember your amazing response that allowed us to source our first supplies of aid within days of the earthquake. 

Stand by Me supporters in Essex including David and Stella Luckock have been knitting teddies for children in Nepal who lost everything in the Nepal Earthquake. The children’s faces lit up with delight when they were given their teddies, handmade with love.
